How the Application Process Works
Submit via Accubate Portal
Applications are rolling year-round. Complete the online form and upload all required documents.
Auto-Acknowledgment
You receive an automatic email with your unique Application ID upon successful submission.
Completeness & Eligibility Check
Program Manager reviews the application within 3–5 business days. Incomplete applications are returned once for correction.
Evaluation Cycle
Track A: Single-round threshold evaluation. Track B: 3-round competitive process (pre-screening → detailed review → pitch session).
Mandatory Team Interaction
Required for Track A & Track B before any grant disbursement. Validates proposal authenticity, execution plan clarity, and team preparedness.
Onboarding & Fund Release
Successful teams are onboarded, both Track A and Track B accounts set up, and first-tranche funds released upon milestone sign-off.

Team Registration Form
All member details, roles, and LDAP IDs for every team member
Project Proposal
Max 2 pages — problem statement, proposed solution, projected impact, target users, expected outcomes, and success metrics
Budget Breakdown
₹30,000 allocation across allowable expense categories
Faculty Advisor ConfirmationOptional
Letter or email from an IITB faculty member confirming advisory role
Track B — Grand Challenge
Up to ₹25 lakh · 12–20 months · 3-round selection
Extended Team Profile
Academic background, prior projects, and complementary skills of all members
Detailed Project Proposal
Max 10 pages — technical approach, innovation, feasibility, market need, and alignment with the annual theme (Year 1: AI Empowered Innovations)
Milestone-Based Project Plan
Comprehensive 12–20 month plan with deliverables mapped to M1–M4 funding milestones
Budget Breakdown
Granularity of ₹1 lakh or below, tied to specific milestones
Faculty Mentor Nomination
Preferred — signed undertaking for WBS account accountability. Required before M1 fund release.
Signed Undertaking
IP compliance, fund utilisation, milestone delivery, and WBS account governance
